Inspired by the resurgence of trucker hats, we wanted something local that Albertans would love. We found the saying “Last Best West” from over 110 years ago, promoting Alberta’s land and opportunity. Although we didn’t love the saying, we loved the meaning and drew inspiration from a 1912 Stampede poster. With Calgary’s renewed opportunity, we thought it was the perfect time to revive this catchy phrase that celebrates our love for the Stampede.
